The DA42-VI is the commercial designation of the DA 42 NG with MÄM 42-600 installed. This calculator additionally represents MÄM 42-659, which provides the 4,045 lb maximum zero fuel weight and 4,407 lb maximum landing weight, and MÄM 42-678, which provides the 4,407 lb maximum takeoff weight.

The represented loading stations are 90.6 in for the front seats, 128.0 in for the rear seats, 23.6 in for the nose baggage compartment, 153.1 in for the cabin baggage compartment and 178.7 in for the baggage extension.

The nose baggage compartment is limited to 66 lb. The cabin baggage compartment is represented with a 100 lb limit and the baggage extension with a 40 lb limit; the cabin baggage compartment and extension together are limited to 100 lb.
