WBcalc separates model-specific loading data from aircraft-specific empty-weight data. The first can come from approved model documentation; the second belongs to the individual airplane and its current weight and balance record.
Sources identified on model pages include FAA Type Certificate Data Sheets, Pilot's Operating Handbooks, Aircraft Flight Manuals and applicable operating data. The source text shown on each calculator describes the document or data set used for that configuration.
Model data can include maximum weight, forward and aft CG limit points, usable fuel, fuel arm, passenger stations, baggage stations, baggage limits and reference datum. Applicability can depend on model, serial number, category, tank configuration, installed equipment and approved modifications.
Some pages include a clearly identified POH sample or reference empty weight to make the calculator immediately usable. It is not a substitute for the current certified empty weight and arm of the individual aircraft.
If you find a value that may be wrong or incomplete, please contact WBcalc and include the supporting source reference.
