The Maule M-9 is the enhanced-gross-weight development of the Maule high-wing utility series. Current factory data list a 2,800 lb gross weight and three principal engine choices: carbureted O-540-B4B5 at 235 hp, injected IO-540-W1A5 at 235 hp and IO-540-V4A5 at 260 hp. Maule's current brochure uses 85 U.S. gallons standard fuel for range calculations. Empty weight and useful load vary with engine, gear and equipment.
