The Cessna 182A Skylane is an early four-seat, fixed-tricycle-gear member of the Cessna 182 family. FAA Type Certificate Data Sheet 3A13 lists the 182A as a normal-category airplane approved on December 7, 1956.
The 182A was produced for the 1957 and 1958 model years and established the Skylane name within the 182 series.
